TMC Recognizes CEL-FI GO RED with a 2019 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award

The CEL-FI GO RED FirstNet booster ensures cellular coverage during emergencies for the nation’s public safety network

August 6, 2019Nextivity Inc. announced today that TMC, a global, integrated media company, has recognized CEL-FI GO RED with a 2019 Communications Solutions Products of the Year Award.

As the latest addition to the award-winning CEL-FI product line and the first FirstNet booster,

CEL-FI GO RED amplifies FirstNet service inside buildings, ensuring that first responders have strong and reliable signals when using their cellular devices in emergency situations.

“Cellular coverage holes and poor signal areas can make already-difficult conditions even more challenging for first responders in emergency situations,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “CEL-FI GO RED provides strong and reliable cellular connection on FirstNet-compatible devices inside buildings so that vital communication can take place without interruption.”

According to the First Responder Network Authority, when public safety personnel out in the field have a strong wireless connection that is guaranteed through network priority and pre-emption, the crucial work of emergency managers becomes faster and more efficient. But cellular coverage holes and poor signal areas still exist inside many buildings, caused by cellular signals being inhibited or blocked by external obstacles – such as hills, trees, and other tall buildings – or by building materials, and even by bad weather.

The CEL-FI GO RED FirstNet Booster from Nextivity addresses this issue. It can be set up in just minutes to amplify FirstNet signals in bands 12 and 14 concurrently inside any building. CEL-FI GO RED provides 100db coverage for up to 15,000 sq. ft. per unit, powering a strong and reliable cellular connection on FirstNet-compatible devices inside buildings for emergency communication by police, fire, and medical personnel.  Partners have also made this solution available in portable kits, for remote situations or emergency scenes.

CEL-FI GO RED will be on display at the Nextivity booth (1140) at APCO 2019 in Baltimore. For more information or to set up a meeting, contact Nextivity here.
