Smart signal booster voted the top in all three of its categories
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – December 23, 2014 – Nextivity Inc. today announced that Cel-Fi has achieved superstar status in the 2014 Mobile Star Awards™ program. To achieve Superstar status a product must win in all three categories: Wireless Network Coverage, Operator Solutions: Wireless Coverage, and Wireless Network Success Story. The awards are hosted annually by the mobile technology news and directory site MobileVillage.com with the winners chosen by more than 10,000 readers.
“This is a very special achievement for Cel-Fi because these awards are chosen by readers,” said Werner Sievers, President and CEO of Nextivity. “We’re especially grateful to have been acknowledged Superstars in all three categories. This is a strong testament to the fact that our products are industry leaders in delivering superior voice and data services indoors.”
The newest-generation products—Cel-Fi PRO and Cel-Fi DUO —were built on Nextivity’s proprietary Cel-Fi baseband processor. They quadruple wireless data speeds and eliminate dropped calls for wireless subscribers in their homes and offices by eradicating in-building dead zones and boosting signal strength. They are also the first provider-specific, smart signal boosters to support both UMTS and LTE (including VoLTE).
