CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 Wins Gold in 2020 IT World Awards

Commercial in-building cellular coverage solution from Nextivity recognized as Hot Technology of the Year in the Telecommunications category by Network Products Guide.

Nextivity announced today that Network Products Guide, the industry’s leading technology research and advisory guide, has recognized CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 in the 15th Annual 2020 Network Product Guide’s IT World Awards®. CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 was selected as the Hot Technology of the Year Gold Winner in the Telecommunications category.

The IT World Awards are industry and peer recognitions from Network Products Guide honoring the achievements of the world’s best in organizational performance, product and service innovations, hot technologies, executives and management teams, successful deployments, product management and engineering, customer satisfaction, and public relations in information technology and cyber security.

CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 is a multi-carrier, hybrid active Distributed Antenna System (DAS) that provides in-building cellular coverage in large commercial buildings, and is widely acknowledged as the ideal solution for any IT department that struggles to resolve cellular coverage problems in their building(s). QUATRA 4000 can simultaneously amplify the cellular signal of up to four carriers. It can distribute in-building signal off-air or via small cell, or through a combination of both, delivering a cellular signal with up to 100 dB gain per operator. In Supercell configuration, QUATRA 4000 extends the cellular capacity provided by the small cell(s) uniformly throughout a building right to its perimeter. Unlike other products that offer a single boost value to only the strongest input signal, QUATRA 4000 provides gain to each carrier signal independently, delivering maximum power levels across the board. Like other CEL-FI products, QUATRA 4000 is carrier-approved and guaranteed network safe.

“Our carrier-grade solutions are widely available to the IT community through our extensive partner network. Nextivity solution architects work in collaboration with our partners to deliver the right solution to meet the needs of every organization and support the IT teams responsible for solving coverage or capacity challenges in an office space, manufacturing, warehousing, or other facilities,” says Werner Sievers, CEO of Nextivity. “CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 is the innovation that the industry needs, and has proven to be highly efficient from a cost, performance, and management point of view.”

CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 can be ordered, delivered, installed, and operational in a matter of weeks, making it the ideal solution for ensuring consistent, uninterrupted indoor coverage in hospitals, schools, shopping malls, manufacturing facilities, office buildings, and other indoor settings.

“This award acknowledges the advanced technology built into CEL-FI QUATRA 4000 and reinforces the capabilities it delivers and resulting global adoption,” says Sievers. “With the ability to effectively support four carriers on a single system, plus its flexible deployment options, QUATRA 4000 has very quickly become the go-to in-building cellular coverage solution for enterprises, carriers, and our network of distribution partners and installers.”

Judges from a broad spectrum of industry voices from around the world participated and their average scores determined the 2020 award winners. Winners will be celebrated and presented their awards during a virtual awards ceremony in November.
